good work:
the round table
What to ExpectPull Up a Chair
Good people. Good work. Better business — together.
Twice a year, Good Work Roundtable brings local business owners, entrepreneurs, and leaders together around one table for the kind of conversations that actually make us better at what we do.
This isn’t a room built for collecting business cards or perfecting your elevator pitch.
It’s a place to ask good questions. Share what’s working. Talk honestly about what isn’t. Learn from people who know things you don’t. Offer what you know freely. And build real relationships with other people who care about doing good work — in every sense of the phrase.
Our Roundtables are intentionally collaborative. Each gathering includes time to meet the people at the table, focused conversations around the challenges and opportunities we’re navigating as business owners, and practical learning led by people within our own community.
Because everybody at the table knows something worth sharing.
Past conversations have included leadership and purpose, building strong workplace cultures, employee retention, negotiating leases and renewals, and the very real questions that come with growing and leading a business.
The goal isn’t to leave with a stack of contacts.
It’s to leave with an idea you can use, a person you’re glad you met, and a stronger connection to the local business community around you.
Whether you’ve owned a business for decades, just started one, or find yourself somewhere in between, there’s a chair for you here.

For this Roundtable, we’re putting even more of the conversation in the hands of the people around the table.
Have a topic you’d love to hear discussed? Tell us.
Have a particular area of expertise — your business “superpower” — that could help another entrepreneur? We’re looking for members of our community to lead 15–20 minute conversations around the things they know best.
You don’t need to prepare a keynote or pretend you have every answer. Bring what you know, what you’ve learned, and a willingness to share it generously.
And if there’s something you’re wrestling with in your own business, bring that too. Chances are, somebody else at the table has been there.
Who should come?
Business owners, entrepreneurs, founders, and leaders who care about growing great businesses while being good humans in the process.
Know somebody who belongs at the table?
Invite them. Share the Good Work Roundtable website. Bring them with you.
The table gets better when good people keep pulling up chairs.
Can you make it November 5? Let us know — and when you RSVP, tell us what you’d like to learn about or what you might be willing to share.
We can’t wait to see you at the table.
